An open dialogue dedicated to enhancing cooperation between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and practical internal affairs bodies was held at the Academy.
The event brought together the Head of the Academy R. Khatamov, the Head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs R. Sultankhodjaev, as well as the heads of departments responsible for coordinating internal affairs activities and the heads of faculties and academic departments.
Participants exchanged views on the introduction of modern approaches within the internal affairs system, the current state of personnel training, and the need for improved educational quality. An emphasis was placed on strengthening the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The importance of aligning the educational process with modern standards, enhancing personnel competence, and deepening collaboration with operational units was emphasized in light of ongoing reforms in the internal affairs system.
In addition to discussing achievements, participants also discussed existing challenges. Faculty, departmental, and internal affairs representatives shared practical suggestions aimed to improve training effectiveness.
As a result of the dialogue, a number of priority areas have been identified. These include updating curricula in line with current demands, improving training mechanisms based on the “cadet–teacher–practitioner” model, introducing results-oriented approaches, strengthening experience exchange between academic and practical structures, and developing research-based solutions to existing issues.
