Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Diyorbek Nematjonovich Sattarov, together with Colonel Rustam Ravshanovich Mirzayev, conducted a field assessment of ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and prevent crime in Navoi region.

During the visit, several sites in Nurota district were inspected. The officials reviewed the district internal affairs department building, including the working conditions for staff and the organization of their daily activities. Afterward, they visited the "Mustaqillik" mahalla, where they examined measures for crime prevention, early detection of crimes, and the practical implementation of the widely recognized "Chilanzar experience."

Based on the findings, responsible officials were given clear instructions and recommendations focused on addressing local challenges in a timely and effective manner, promoting employment among the population, and further stabilizing the crime situation in the region.

The visit was concluded with an extended meeting at the regional department, where the results of work performed during the first quarter were discussed in depth. During the discussion, efforts were discussed regarding early crime prevention, the performance of internal affairs units and sectoral services, as well as measures to maintain public order, ensure road safety, and create safer mahallas. In addition to achieving results, existing shortcomings were also addressed openly.

A particular focus was placed on strengthening service discipline, ensuring strict adherence to the law, supporting personnel, and preventing negative incidents among employees. The meeting also discussed additional steps that should be taken to further develop the internal affairs system into a people-oriented and professional structure, while increasing the knowledge, physical preparedness, and overall readiness of its employees.
