The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to enhance public engagement and improve the appeals process. The Investigation Department regularly organizes both in-person and mobile receptions as part of these efforts.
On April 25, Deputy Minister R. Ashropov met directly with citizens to listen to their concerns and identify pressing issues requiring resolution. During the reception, a total of 145 citizens were received, and more than 126 appeals were reviewed. Of these, 89 related to investigative and inquiry activities, 6 concerned pre-investigation checks, 1 addressed the conduct of employees, and 30 covered other matters within the competence of internal affairs bodies.
Furthermore, online receptions were organized for residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other parts of the country. Additionally, citizens from Jizzakh, Khorezm, Surkhandarya, and Kashkadarya regions were able to raise concerns remotely.
Together with responsible officials, the Deputy Minister engaged in direct dialogue with citizens throughout the reception. A careful review of appeals relating to pre-investigation processes, inquiries, preliminary investigations, prevention of violations, and other areas was conducted, with clear instructions provided to ensure their prompt and lawful resolution.
Consequently, 34 appeals (27 percent) were resolved on the spot, while 20 (16 percent) were addressed through detailed explanations provided to citizens. The remaining 72 appeals (57 percent), which require additional study, are being monitored to ensure their timely and impartial consideration.
Such open and direct engagement with the public remains a key priority and will continue regularly.
