As part of the ongoing reforms, particular attention is being given to the development of physical education and sports, as well as to promoting healthy lifestyle practices among the population.
During a videoconference meeting chaired by the Head of State, priority tasks in this area were clearly defined, along with concrete measures to ensure their effective implementation. Among the initiatives introduced was the designation of one day each week as “Sports Day,” with all ministries, agencies, and organizations tasked with regularly organizing physical training activities. This initiative is aimed at increasing physical activity among employees, fostering a healthy and competitive environment, and enhancing overall productivity.
Accordingly, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs, met with senior officials at the JAR sports complex to review the conditions and ongoing activities.
The Minister highly commended the work of the various sports clubs and sections operating at the complex. This included programs designed for young people, employees, and their children. Particular attention was drawn to the introduction of modern approaches, such as the application of scientific methods to improve physical fitness and the monitoring of daily nutrition.
During the visit, specific instructions were given on how to further strengthen physical training. These instructions included placing an increased emphasis on combat sports, and actively introducing intensive training methods such as cross-fit into regular practice. The importance of making full and effective use of the existing infrastructure, including the complex’s outdoor facilities, and expanding the scope of training activities was also highlighted.
Physical education and sports initiatives play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, not only among personnel within the internal affairs system but also in general society and in particular among young people. Consistently implementing these measures will provide a solid foundation for future success.
