Public safety measures were reviewed in Bukhara region

First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Department of Public Safety, Major General Rustam Juraev, held an extensive review of efforts to ensure public safety in the Bukhara region.
The visit began with an inspection of Bukhara International Airport, followed by an assessment of security arrangements at the region’s most popular tourist destinations. These destinations included
the Bahauddin Naqshband Complex,
Ark Fortress, and
the Lyabi Khauz ensemble.
The First Deputy Minister received briefings from officers of the patrol service, traffic safety units, security services, and tourist police at each location. He reviewed the practical measures in place to maintain public order and ensure safety for residents and visitors.
A particular emphasis was placed on the level of coordination between the internal affairs bodies and other relevant agencies, such as the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the National Guard. An evaluation of the effectiveness of this interagency cooperation was conducted.
Additionally, key aspects of public safety were discussed, such as the general organization of public safety, the use and condition of technical security systems, and measures aimed at protecting citizens and foreign tourists.
Following the visit, a number of tasks were set to further strengthen the public safety system, enhance coordination among law enforcement services, and introduce modern approaches to crime prevention.
