A discussion of cooperation prospects between the Advanced Training Institute of the MIA and the International Committee of the Red Cross is held

A meeting was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Central Asian Regional Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation, learning from advanced international practices, and strengthening the application of humanitarian principles in law enforcement activities.
Special attention was given to enhancing the professional capacity of personnel in applying international humanitarian law, as well as introducing modern teaching and methodological approaches into the training process.
Participants also considered key issues related to the development of educational materials on international humanitarian law, improving curricula, and aligning theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
In addition, proposals were made for the incorporation of interactive teaching methods, the enhancement of faculty skills, and the organization of joint seminars and training programs.
The dialogue resulted in agreements to implement joint projects, conduct scientific and practical research, and launch specialized training courses with international experts.
Following the meeting, both sides outlined concrete steps to further enhance their cooperation.
