The MIA Working Group continues its inspection in Surkhandarya with a focus on public safety and scientific approaches

The working group led by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, continued its field study in Surkhandarya region, including visits to Denov, Bandikhan, and Kizirik districts.
The delegation visited the newly constructed Regional Training Center of the Security Department in Denov district. It is intended to enhance the professional training of personnel serving in regional security units and is scheduled to be commissioned shortly. During the visit, the Minister emphasized the importance of introducing advanced technologies into the training process, as well as strengthening physical, tactical, and spiritual-educational preparation for staff.
In addition, the working group visited the Department of Internal Affairs in the Bandikhan district, where the implementation of the Presidential Resolution dated January 5, 2026, designed to create a safe environment in mahallas, was reviewed in detail. Key priorities for the future were discussed, with particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation, ensuring public safety, and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.
It was noted that personnel must intensify their joint efforts to create a secure environment in every mahalla and fulfill their trust.
During the visit, presentations were also given on the activities of the Security Service, including the use of advanced technologies to protect residential areas and facilities, as well as newly introduced innovations.
In Kizirik district, discussions focused on strengthening work in high-risk mahallas, improving public order, and enhancing measures to combat illegal drug trafficking and organized crime.
Overall, it was emphasized that ensuring public safety requires a comprehensive and scientifically grounded approach. This involves careful analysis of local challenges, close engagement with communities, and tailored solutions based on the specific conditions of each mahalla.
The working group’s studies will continue in other regions of the country.
