Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and law enforcement agencies of Hungary continues to develop dynamically, with a focus on exchanging advanced experience and strengthening joint efforts to combat modern security threats.
In response to the initiative of the Head of State, a consistent effort has been made to expand international cooperation in key areas such as counterterrorism, the fight against organized crime, cybercrime, and illicit drug trafficking.
In this regard, Uzbekistan and Hungary signed a "Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries for 2025-2026" last year. A delegation led by Colonel Norbert Dávid, Deputy Director of the Hungarian National Investigation Bureau, is currently in Uzbekistan to implement the provisions of this document.
During an interdepartmental meeting held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Deputy Head of the Investigation Department, Colonel Mansur Sattarov, and members of the Hungarian delegation discussed key areas of cooperation, including joint measures to counter terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, and illegal drug trafficking.
The parties also reached agreements on organizing specialized training courses in cybercrime and digital forensics for Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel.
Following the meeting, important understandings were reached regarding the implementation of joint scientific projects and the expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
The working visit of the Hungarian delegation to Uzbekistan continues.
