The MIA Academy hosted a training on cybercrime investigation

A two-day seminar training on cybercrime investigation was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
The event brought together investigators from internal affairs bodies and prosecutor’s offices, specialists from units combating crimes in the field of information technologies, as well as professors and educators from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other law enforcement educational institutions.
During the training, an international expert provided insights into current trends in cybercrime, its evolving forms, and effective methods for detecting and investigating offenses committed with modern information technology. Furthermore, participants were introduced to the practical experience and best practices developed by Belarusian law enforcement agencies. The existing challenges in the field were analyzed, and practical solutions were discussed.
It was highlighted that regular exchange of experience in this field plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of detecting and investigating cybercrimes, enhancing the professional skills of specialists, and aligning law enforcement practices with modern technological developments.
