Leadership of DIA of Namangan region reviewed crime prevention efforts in the mahallas of the city

The leadership of the Namangan Regional Internal Affairs Department is continuing systematic efforts to analyze the causes of serious crimes and to develop effective measures for their prevention.
A working group headed by the Head of the Department, together with the city governor and prosecutor, conducted field visits to the “Gulbog,” “Sumalak guzari,” and “Yangi kurilish” mahallas.
During the meetings, held with community representatives, prevention inspectors' activities and performance were critically reviewed. Particular attention was given to analyzing serious crimes recorded in these areas. This included identifying their underlying causes, and discussing practical steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Furthermore, responsible officials were instructed to increase engagement with residents, study their concerns in detail, and develop effective solutions. A special emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation within the "mahalla seven" framework in order to enhance community safety.
