Key tasks were set to improve security and efficiency in the railway transport sector

An important meeting was held at the Railway Transport Security Department of the Tashkent region. The meeting focused on improving service effectiveness, enhancing public order, and securing reliable transport infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, who reviewed ongoing work in the sector, analyzed existing challenges, and outlined specific tasks to further enhance performance.
It was emphasized that railway transport is a strategically significant sector, and ensuring its safety is a vital component of overall state security. Consequently, personnel were required to demonstrate a high level of responsibility, to remain vigilant at all times, and to continually improve their skills in their respective fields.
As a result of the meeting, several priority areas were identified, including:
- strengthening the protection of railway facilities and infrastructure,
- maintaining public order and passenger safety,
- expanding prevention measures to reduce violations,
- effectively utilizing modern information technology and video surveillance systems.
A particular emphasis was placed on improving the professional development of employees as well as reinforcing the discipline of the service department. Additionally, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov stressed the importance of adhering to professional ethics when interacting with citizens.
