Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus continues to expand, with new promising projects being actively developed and implemented.
As emphasized by the Head of State, improving the quality and transparency of investigations remains a key priority in building a law-based state. As part of these objectives, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been continuously working to enhance the activities of investigative bodies through the adoption of advanced international experience and the expansion of international cooperation.
A significant step in this direction was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Investigative Committee of Belarus on November 11, 2025. Since then, a number of effective joint initiatives have been successfully implemented.
In support of this ongoing partnership, a meeting with a delegation from the Investigative Committee of Belarus, currently in Uzbekistan on official business, took place at the Ministry's central office.
The meeting was led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Investigation Department, Colonel Ramazon Ashropov, and Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, Anatoliy Vasiliev. The parties discussed key areas of cooperation, including the exchange of experience, organization of training programs, and the holding of scientific and practical conferences aimed at enhancing the professional skills of investigators.
A special emphasis was placed on modern investigative practices, achievements in system digitalization, and effective responses to contemporary challenges, particularly the recognition and investigation of cyber fraud.
