The Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a training seminar aimed at improving the country's ranking in international ratings and indices related to internal affairs.
Seminar participants were encouraged to apply modern approaches to their work and to strengthen the responsibility of relevant departments within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of the event, participants assessed the current performance of Uzbekistan in international ratings and indices. During the discussions, priority tasks were identified for improving existing indicators, practical measures to be implemented, and existing shortcomings and challenges were critically reviewed.
A special emphasis was placed on the results achieved across specific indicators, the factors influencing their development, and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for further improvement. Additionally, public perception, assessments by international experts, and open data sources were discussed as factors influencing rating outcomes.
Following the seminar, it was emphasized that ongoing reforms, positive results, and best practices for sectoral services should be consistently and transparently communicated to international rating organizations through reliable and systematic information exchange.
