The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted an international training course for expert criminologists representing educational institutions members of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA).
As part of the program, the Head of the Academy, Rustam Khatamov, met with a foreign delegation from Turkey, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, and Mongolia.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current outcomes and future prospects of cooperation among INTERPA member institutions. Emphasis was placed on the importance of expanding multifaceted collaboration in today’s dynamically changing global environment. It was noted that INTERPA is increasingly serving as an effective platform for strengthening educational integration and elevating it to a new level. The importance of the training course in enhancing the professional capacity of academic staff, studying advanced international practices, and introducing them to practical activities was also emphasized.
On the same day, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Academy, visiting the Information Resource Center, the Master's Degree Building, the Faculty for Work with Foreign Personnel, the Center for Monitoring and Quality Control of Education, the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and the sports complex. Furthermore, they explored specialized vehicles used for training operational-investigative groups and modern forensic laboratories established to promote dual educational opportunities.
A foreign delegation expressed great interest in the large-scale reforms in the educational process, the innovative approaches applied in practice, and the modern conditions created for trainees and faculty. A special emphasis was placed on educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, rooted in the scientific and spiritual heritage of the nation's great ancestors.
The training course, which continues until March 27, includes sessions conducted by experienced professors and field experts.
