Navoi officials conduct field studies in the areas of crime prevention and public safety

In the Navoi region, the regional prosecutor and the head of the regional internal affairs department are engaged in a series of field studies and discussions to prevent crimes and offenses and to strengthen public safety.
As part of these efforts, responsible officials reviewed and discussed the implementation of the President’s resolutions No. PR-1, “On additional measures to introduce an integrated system for creating a safe environment in mahallas,” and No. PP-2, “On organizational measures to further enhance the effectiveness of early crime prevention in mahallas in 2026.”
During the visit, particular attention was paid to the activities of the "mahalla seven" in the "Ishonch" mahalla. The officials reviewed closely issues related to ensuring the safety and security of citizens, protecting their rights and legitimate interests, and addressing public complaints. Relevant instructions were issued to strengthen public oversight and expand preventive measures.
A critical review of the most serious crimes recorded in the mahallas was conducted on the same day. An analysis of the underlying causes and contributing factors was conducted, and targeted measures were identified to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.
This type of field studies and discussions are planned to continue in other areas across the region.
