A meeting was held in the Navoi region to analyze crime registration and preventive measures

An open meeting was held with the attendance of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs as well as the regional prosecutor's office to discuss issues related to crime registration and preventative measures.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the prosecutor’s office, deputy heads of departments, leaders of sectoral services, as well as responsible officers from city and district internal affairs departments, who joined the event remotely.
During the meeting, participants analysed in depth the types of crimes recorded across the region. They examined their underlying causes and contributing factors. Existing challenges in the field were also discussed, and participants exchanged views on ways to address them.
Special attention was given to improving the procedures for registering crimes and enhancing pre-investigation inquiry activities within the framework of the operational and preventive campaign “Safe and Healthy Country.”
Following the meeting, responsible officials were instructed to strengthen efforts to prevent crime, ensure that each appeal and case is processed in a timely and strictly adherence to the law, and further enhance prevention efforts throughout the region.
