Measures taken to strengthen public safety in Mirabad District

Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan continues to implement practical measures to create a safe environment and improve public safety in the capital.
In this regard, an expanded pre-service briefing was organized in Mirabad district to ensure the effective implementation of tasks related to maintaining public order and security in Tashkent.
It was organized under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, with the participation of district law enforcement officials and personnel from relevant agencies.
During the briefing, the work carried out to maintain public order and safeguard the peace and safety of citizens was reviewed. Priority tasks were also outlined to ensure the effective performance of security, patrol, road safety, and preventive services operating around the clock in three shifts. Particular emphasis was placed on maintaining high standards of discipline, responsibility, and efficiency in service.
Additionally, the meeting addressed mechanisms for efficiently and effectively responding to citizens' appeals and resolving issues raised by organizations and facilities through coordinated efforts. A clear instruction was provided to employees regarding conscientious performance of their duties and maintaining close communication with the public while maintaining a safe working environment.
As part of the event, officials also met with members of the “mahalla seven” at the citizens’ assembly of the Altinkul mahalla. During the visit, security measures, existing conditions, and the state of order and discipline at a local market were reviewed. Based on the findings, targeted measures were identified to address shortcomings and further strengthen security arrangements.
Following the event, personnel were deployed to their respective service locations according to their assigned duties. It was noted that such measures play a significant role in ensuring public safety and protecting the peaceful and orderly life of citizens in the capital.
