The Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs reviewed task force activities in Karmana district

According to Presidential Resolution No. PR-1, “On Additional Measures Aimed at Introducing a System of Integrated Work to Create a Safe Environment in the Mahallas of the Republic,” and “On Organizational Measures to Further Increase the Effectiveness of Early Crime Prevention in the Mahallas of the Republic in 2026,” comprehensive efforts are underway in the Navoi region.
A regional prosecutor and the head of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs visited Karmana District's task force to review the measures being implemented to curb crime and ensure public safety as part of these efforts.
As part of the visit, officials reviewed ongoing initiatives to create a safe environment in local mahallas, to prevent crimes and offenses early, and to increase the effectiveness of prevention efforts. An emphasis was placed on the use of modern technologies and the integration of video surveillance systems in order to maintain public order.
The leadership also reviewed the process of handling citizens’ appeals received through the task force. They stressed the importance of resolving issues promptly and directly on site, as well as strengthening coordination among responsible organizations.
A number of recommendations were provided to enhance dialogue with residents and intensify preventive efforts at the community level to ensure a stable and secure environment for the residents.
