According to this directive, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its territorial bodies continue to strengthen their direct engagement with citizens, ensuring comprehensive consideration of appeals and timely resolution of urgent issues according to applicable laws.
On March 1, the Minister of Internal Affairs hosted a mobile reception for citizens with the participation of responsible leaders of the system. The receptions were conducted both in person for residents of Tashkent city and the Tashkent region, as well as online via videoconference for citizens of Karakalpakstan and other regions to ensure convenience and broad accessibility.
During the reception, a total of 351 appeals concerning the activities of the Ministry were registered. The majority of appeals were related to property and funds recovery, road safety, pre-investigation and investigative procedures, and personnel matters.
Of the received appeals, 186 (53 percent) were positively resolved in accordance with legislative requirements during the reception itself. The remaining 165 appeals (47 percent), which required additional review and coordination with relevant sectoral bodies, were placed under established supervision procedures, and specific instructions were issued to responsible officials to ensure their timely resolution.
The Ministry's territorial structures, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan, the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent City, the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent Region, and regional Departments of Internal Affairs, also registered 433 appeals during on-site receptions conducted by the Ministry's territorial structures.
