Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, A. Ashropov, and Deputy Minister Z. Kurbanov.
During the meeting, participants discussed pressing issues related to improving the system of professional training, retraining, and advanced qualification courses for investigators and inquiry officers in line with modern requirements. As part of the educational process, there was a particular emphasis placed on strengthening professional competencies through the use of advanced pedagogical methods, digital technologies, and interactive learning formats.
It was noted that consistent and systematic work in this direction will contribute to improving the quality of investigations, enhancing the effectiveness of evidence handling, and expanding the practical application of modern investigative techniques.
Additionally, certain challenges observed in inquiry and preliminary investigation procedures were analyzed. An evaluation of existing shortcomings, an increase in operational efficiency, and a strengthening of scientific and methodological support for investigative practices were identified as priority areas.
As a result of the meeting, participants underscored the importance of enhancing the professional capacity of investigators, assuring high-quality investigations, and strengthening effective interagency cooperation.
