According to Resolution No. PR-209 dated June 5, 2024, issued by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outlines a significant task for further developing the national cinematography sector and producing films portraying our nation's rich history.
The resolution provides for the active participation of ministries, agencies, and higher education institutions in organizing cultural and educational events - including creative meetings, excursions, and film screenings - at the National Palace of Cinematography of Uzbekistan on a quarterly basis.
On February 21 at 18:00, the National Palace of Cinematography screened a documentary film entitled "Behbudiy" in support of these initiatives and to promote meaningful cultural engagement among the personnel.
The film is dedicated to the life and legacy of Mahmudkhodja Behbudiy, founder of the Turkestan Jadid movement, distinguished author, public figure, publisher, and educator. His contribution to enlightenment, national revival, and the development of progressive thought in Central Asia is highlighted in the documentary.
The internal affairs employees actively participated in the screening, demonstrating a keen interest in the cultural and historical heritage of the country. Such events serve to strengthen spiritual values, broaden intellectual outlook, and foster a deeper sense of patriotism among personnel.
