A meeting on public safety and early crime prevention was held in Jizzakh city

Jizzakh Regional Internal Affairs Department leadership held a meeting focused on enhancing early crime prevention measures and strengthening public safety in Jizzakh city.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the implementation of Resolution No. 1 dated January 5, issued by the Head of State, as well as the current criminal situation across the region. An analysis of the situation was presented in detail, and targeted measures intended to stabilize the situation were discussed.
Special emphasis was placed on preventing family-related conflicts, reducing offenses among youth and women, and reinforcing the system of targeted, community-based work within the mahallas.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of coordinated preventive actions and rapid response mechanisms to combat cybercrime, drug abuse, and organized crime.
Furthermore, increasing the effectiveness of preventive activities at the mahalla level and reducing crime by identifying and resolving social problems early were identified as key priorities going forward.
