The Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to organize regular personal and mobile receptions as part of ongoing efforts to improve the effectiveness of handling citizens' appeals and to strengthen open and constructive dialogue with the public.
Another personal reception was conducted by Deputy Minister R. Ashropov. The event provided citizens with the opportunity to voice their concerns directly, allowing for a comprehensive review of pressing issues.
A total of 148 citizens attended the reception, and 129 appeals were reviewed in detail. 98 of these were related to investigative and inquiry activities, 20 concerned pre-investigation checks, 5 addressed the actions of internal affairs personnel, and 6 involved other matters within the competence of internal affairs bodies.
The Republic of Karakalpakstan and various regions were also provided with online receptions to ensure accessibility and convenience. Citizens living in remote areas were able to communicate their concerns through videoconferencing without having to travel.
The Deputy Minister, along with responsible officials and staff members, engaged in direct dialogue with citizens during the reception. In addition to pre-investigation procedures, inquiry and preliminary investigation processes, migration and citizenship registration, road safety, and other areas, appeals were carefully considered. Clear and specific instructions were issued to ensure their lawful and timely resolution.
As a result of the reception, 31 appeals (24 percent) were resolved on the spot, while 15 appeals (11.6 percent) were addressed with detailed explanations provided to citizens. The remaining 83 appeals (64.3 percent), which required additional review, were forwarded for further action, with strict monitoring established to ensure their objective and timely consideration.
The Ministry will continue to systematically conduct such open dialogues and personal receptions, reinforcing transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in its work with the public.
