A meeting dedicated to the further development of Mixed Martial Arts was held in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Shukhrat Ismagilovich Anvarov, Deputy Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as Colonel Jasurbek Ataev, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the meeting, athletes and coaches discussed the current state and future prospects of the sport.
This meeting was organized with the primary objective of promoting mixed martial arts more widely, strengthening its technical and material base, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle and sports participation among youth.
During the discussion, officials highlighted the significant role of mixed martial arts in fostering discipline, resilience, patriotism, and a strong moral character among young people. Concrete tasks were outlined to further develop the sport in the region, identify and support talented athletes, and create favorable conditions for their growth and professional advancement.
The athletes and coaches were able to share their views and suggestions, and their questions were answered in detail. A number of recommendations were made regarding improving training processes, expanding the number of competitions, and further popularizing sports among youth.
Following the meeting, certificates of appreciation were presented to a number of distinguished athletes and their coaches. Furthermore, best wishes were extended for continued success and even greater achievements in the future.
It was noted that such initiatives will contribute to elevating mixed martial arts to a new level, strengthening a healthy lifestyle among young people, and enhancing the overall prestige of the sport.
