Measures to prevent and combat the shadow economy were discussed in Namangan region

Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, regional governor of Namangan, chaired a videoconference meeting dedicated to issues related to the prevention and suppression of the shadow economy.
Heads of law enforcement agencies, deputy regional governors, governors of cities and districts and representatives of relevant organizations attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Head of the Namangan Regional Department of Internal Affairs presented an overview of the criminal situation in the region. He reported on the measures currently being implemented, and outlined key priorities for future work.
A critical and analytical review was conducted of the activities in this area. An emphasis was placed on strengthening crime prevention efforts, ensuring the effective implementation of Presidential Resolution No. PR-1 and PR-2, regulating the activities of markets, accelerating digitalization processes, and ensuring strict control over the use of cash registers in trade and public catering facilities, as well as other priority measures aimed at combating the shadow economy.
