A Memorandum of Cooperation between the DIA of Namangan region and the Technical University of Namangan has been signed

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Namangan Regional Department of Internal Affairs and Namangan State Technical University in order to prevent crimes involving information technology, raise public awareness, protect citizens from cyber threats, and develop a pool of qualified specialists in this area.
The memorandum was signed during a meeting attended by the leadership of both institutions and relevant specialists. The agreement provides a framework for strengthening joint efforts in combating cybercrime and developing modern approaches to digital security.
By signing the memorandum, the parties agreed to conduct more awareness-raising activities to prevent cyber-attacks, develop effective protection measures against emerging digital threats, and cooperate in the development of automated intelligent systems and modern software applications.
Furthermore, the agreement provides for the establishment of a cybersecurity training center jointly operated by the university and the regional internal affairs department. The program will also include joint training courses, seminars, and workshops for students and internal affairs personnel, as well as opportunities for students to engage in internships within internal affairs organizations.
During the event, representatives of Namangan State Technical University acquired a better understanding of the work of the Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technology and the Quick Response Center within the Regional Department of Internal Affairs. They were briefed on the existing infrastructure, technical resources, and operational capabilities.
