The leadership of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs conducted on-site reviews of measures being implemented to strengthen night-time patrol services, combat crime, and maintain public order in mahallas classified as high-risk (“red zones”) within the city.
During the review, particular attention was given to the introduction of the “capital model” in efforts to counter organized crime, drug-related offenses, cybercrime, and the shadow economy. These measures are being actively implemented in the Sayiljoyi, Zargarlik, Toshlok, Babur, and Ulugbek mahallas.
Following the findings of the study, the responsible officials were given specific instructions regarding the need to enhance social prevention efforts, develop targeted and effective control mechanisms, raise public awareness and vigilance, and further enhance public safety at night.
These measures will increase Jizzakh residents' security at night and make their living environment safer.
