On January 29, the preventive inspector, Captain Amrillo Rasulov, who was on duty in the Vobkent district of the Bukhara region, risked his life to save a woman who had jumped into the Vobkent Darya canal. Later, it turned out that this woman was the mother of 4 children. The inspector's promptness and courage were the key factors in saving a person's life.
By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Amrillo Rasulov was awarded the special title of "major" ahead of schedule for his courage, determination and dedication to his profession in an emergency situation.
