Public Safety and Crime Prevention issues in Kashkadarya region were discussed with the participation of the community

The Kashkadarya region held a series of discussion meetings focused on fighting crime, strengthening early prevention measures, and analyzing committed offenses in Karshi city and Kukdala and Yakkabag districts.
Colonel Abduvokhid Ismailov, Head of the Kashkadarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs, attended the meetings along with representatives of the prosecutor's office, internal affairs bodies, "mahalla seven" structures, and other relevant officials.
During the discussion, the causes and contributing factors of crime were openly and critically discussed. Participants in the discussion stressed the importance of combining punitive measures with comprehensive social, educational, and preventive measures in order to effectively prevent crime. Particular attention was given to strengthening the role of the mahalla institution, enhancing public oversight, organizing targeted work with young people, maintaining constant dialogue with residents, and improving the overall social environment.
During the meetings, participants noted that close cooperation between state bodies, the public, mahallas, and families plays a significant role in preventing crimes and offenses. Additionally, the importance of enhancing prevention activities through modern and innovative approaches was emphasized.
