A republican scientific and practical conference was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, titled "On Comprehensive Measures to Effectively Protect Public Health and the Nation's Gene Pool from Drug Addiction and Drug-Related Crimes."
The event was organized in cooperation with the National Center for Drug Control under the administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and it brought together representatives of relevant state bodies, experts, and specialists.
The conference focused on the topic "Prospects for Improving Legal Liability for Illegal Trafficking and Use of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropics, and Potent Substances." Participants discussed current challenges, legal mechanisms, and effective approaches to combating drug-related offenses.
The primary objective of the conference was to promote the practical application of scientific research outcomes, enhance preventive measures, and strengthen interagency cooperation in combating drug addiction and drug crime.
