The working group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recently conducted preliminary selection events at the DIA of Namangan region to identify promising candidates for the Master’s degree program at the Ministry’s Academy for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The objective of this initiative is to build a reserve of highly qualified personnel in the internal affairs sector in accordance with directives established during a meeting led by the Minister of Internal Affairs. The working group focused on selecting candidates who demonstrated potential for advanced studies.
As a first step, a list of senior officials meeting the criteria outlined in Ministerial Order No. 411, dated October 21, 2024, was compiled. Assessments were administered to candidates in order to determine their professional knowledge, logical reasoning, and ability to handle challenging situations.
A shortlist of candidates who excelled in the tests and exhibited strong personal and professional qualities and embodied the commitment to "serve the Motherland with loyalty" was created through a series of interviews.
As part of these interviews, candidates were asked to demonstrate their understanding of the ongoing reforms within the internal affairs system, their management capabilities, their ability to make decisions in an emergency, their analytical thinking skills, and their leadership qualities.
This initial selection process resulted in lists of candidates for the Academy's Master's degree specializations in "Organizational-Strategic Management" and "Organizational-Tactical Management."
