The Sirdarya Regional Prosecutor's Office hosted a working meeting as part of "Thursday Prevention Day" to discuss practical measures aimed at preventing crimes and offenses.
The Sirdarya Regional Prosecutor and the Regional Department of Internal Affairs leadership attended the meeting. Participants reviewed the implementation of tasks outlined in Presidential Resolution No. 1 dated January 3, 2025, assessed the work completed to date, and identified priority areas for future work.
Over the past week, special attention has been paid to the analysis of crimes committed in the region. As a result of this analysis, specific measures were identified that could enhance preventive efforts and further reduce crime and offenses.
During the meeting, the regional prosecutor and senior officials of the Internal Affairs Department issued clear instructions and assignments to responsible leaders. They stressed the need for coordinated and effective action in ensuring public safety and law and order.
