Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A specialized working group led by the Director of the Research Institute of Criminology has begun conducting research activities in the Kashkadarya region in accordance with instructions provided during the recent videoconference led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The study is being carried out within the framework of a plan and schedule approved by the leadership of the sectoral services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, aimed at providing practical assistance in the places as well as an in-depth assessment of the work being performed in the area.

A team of scientific experts has applied a comprehensive scientific and practical approach to analyze the current criminogenic environment. Based on the findings of the field research, evidence-based proposals and practical recommendations are being developed to enhance crime prevention efforts and improve the overall effectiveness of measures to combat criminal activity in Kashkadarya region.
