During the meeting, it was announced that small interdepartmental working groups will be established in every city and district. These groups will include prevention inspectors as well as representatives from the Gas Supply System and the Department for Emergency Situations. The working groups were assigned several priority tasks, including:
- Conducting on-site assessments of living conditions at construction sites;
- Reviewing gas and electrical equipment safety;
- Intensifying awareness campaigns to prevent cases of gas and carbon monoxide poisoning;
- Completing registration and strengthening oversight of individuals without permanent residence;
- Providing enhanced monitoring of families at risk, including those with alcohol-related problems;
- Conducting regular night raids to detect and prevent crimes at an early stage;
- Ensuring the individual supervision of socially vulnerable citizens in need of targeted support.
Throughout the meeting, responsible officials were given concrete instructions to maintain high vigilance. They were also instructed to strengthen safety measures in all localities, and guarantee the protection of citizens’ lives, health, and property.
These initiatives represent the next phase of comprehensive measures aimed at preventing crime, safeguarding public order, and systematically enhancing preventive efforts across the Sirdarya region.
