The task of ensuring public safety and preventing crime at the local level remains one of the top priorities of internal affairs bodies. In this regard, concrete measures are being taken to enhance service efficiency and enhance mahalla safety.
As part of this work, the head of the DIA of Namangan region, together with the district governor and prosecutor, conducted an on-site study in Namangan district.
The visit began at the Navruz mahalla. Here, the activities of the prevention inspector and the causes of several serious family-related crimes committed in the area were analyzed in detail with community representatives. During the meeting, the responsible officials were instructed to enhance communication with residents. They were also instructed to ensure timely identification of social problems, and strengthen preventive measures aimed at avoiding similar incidents.
Furthermore, the performance of district internal affairs officers throughout the current year was reviewed, including the outcomes of the comprehensive preventive campaign “Safe and Healthy Country.” Sector service heads were given clear tasks to improve crime prevention efforts and increase the effectiveness of their daily activities.
In addition to improving coordination within the internal affairs system, these on-site studies strengthen crime prevention initiatives and contribute to the improvement of mahallas in terms of safety and security.
