Namangan regional Department of Internal Affairs has undertaken extensive awareness-raising and educational initiatives in Turakurgan district as part of the nationwide "Month for Enhancing Cyber Culture".
As part of this process, district-level school and preschool officials attended preventive meetings focused on cybersecurity and preventing cyber threats. In the sessions, the speakers presented details on malware APK files currently circulating on social networks, their harmful effects on smartphones and personal data, as well as the most common types of online fraud.
Moreover, representatives of the mahalla seven of Turakurgan district participated in a training seminar aimed at strengthening their "digital immunity." In addition to representatives of the district administration, officers from the Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technology of the Namangan regional Department of Internal Affairs participated in the event.
The seminar provided participants with essential information and guidance on preventing online fraud, safeguarding personal information, ensuring safe use of social networks, and improving digital literacy.
