A team of employees from the Department of Penal Corrections of the MIA honorably represented Uzbekistan at the World Sambo Championship

Employees of the Special Response Unit of the Department of Penal Corrections under the Ministry of Internal Affairs proudly joined the competition as part of the Uzbekistan national team. They participated in one of the most significant international events of the year.
The national team achieved excellent results, earning a total of 8 silver and 2 bronze medals.
We are especially pleased to note the achievements of our ministry’s representatives, who contributed to this success by winning silver medals in the following categories:
- Oybek Soliev — Combat Sambo, –64 kg
- Sohibjon Hasanboev — Combat Sambo, –88 kg
- Islam Nosirov — Combat Sambo, +98 kg
