Joint cybersecurity initiative recognized as the "Best Educational Initiative of the Year”

Operational Investigations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with UZCARD was awarded the title of “Best Educational Initiative of the Year” in the “Education” category at the annual CSR Ball organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan (AmCham Uzbekistan).
The project was developed under a memorandum of cooperation between the Cybersecurity Center and the Joint-Stock Company “Single Republican Processing Center” (UZCARD). Its primary goal is to raise public awareness about cyber threats and to prevent citizens from falling victim to cybercrime.
During the first phase, joint outreach activities were conducted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Fergana, Samarkand, and Bukhara. The efforts included awareness sessions, educational materials, and direct engagement with citizens to improve their cyber literacy.
On November 10, representatives of the Cybersecurity Center attended the award ceremony and accepted joint recognition.
During the event, discussions were held with the payment system operator regarding the possibility of launching expanded awareness campaigns in the future to reach a wider audience and enhance preventative measures against cyberattacks.
