The Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages recently hosted a preventive meeting focused on cybercrime prevention, in conjunction with a robust initiative intended to enhance cyber culture in the population.
The event attracted a diverse audience, including officials from the Cybersecurity Center of the Operational Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives from the Cybersecurity Department of the Operational Investigation Service of the Andijan Regional Internal Affairs Department, faculty members from the institute, and a group of students.
During the meeting, experts delivered in-depth presentations on various aspects of cybercrime, emphasizing critical topics such as the importance of securing bank card information, the dangers associated with falling victim to fraudulent prize schemes, the necessity of implementing multi-factor authentication in information systems, and overall strategies for maintaining information security.
Following the event, experts served as a resource for attendees, answering questions and providing detailed responses to enhance their understanding of the topic.
