Before the event, Rustam Khatamov and Muzaffar Kamilov, heads of educational institutions, held a dialogue and exchanged views on topical issues. During the meeting, the parties noted that geopolitical processes in our region and the world are becoming more tense and that it is more important than ever to protect young people from destructive ideological influences.
In such challenging circumstances, it was noted that it is important to be aware of the threats posed by religious extremism and radicalism, prevent foreign ideas and spiritual attacks, increase the effectiveness of legal and educational propaganda among the population, especially young people, and strengthen the security and stability of our country.
At the meeting, issues of cooperation in education were also discussed. Heads of educational institutions signed a cooperation agreement, noting that the exchange of experiences would bring positive results.
Afterwards, a round table discussion was organized with the participation of the rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and master's students. A comprehensive discussion of the increasing threats and dangers, religious extremism, radicalism, the impact of terrorism on regional stability and security, the main factors contributing to the spread of destructive ideas, and how to combat radicalism and violent extremism was held during the meeting.
On this day, the rector of the academy got acquainted with the activities of the educational institution and positively assessed the innovative approaches in personnel training, mechanisms aimed at harmony between theory and practice, and achievements in the digitalization of education.
