Protecting the rights of migrants is a priority for Uzbekistan

From October 26 to 29, a representative of the Department of Migration and Personalization under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in a series of meetings in Ankara, Turkey, as part of an interdepartmental delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs O. Abdullayev.
The meetings, dedicated to labor migration and the protection of migrants’ rights, brought together representatives from both countries to discuss the current situation in the migration sphere. They also discussed existing challenges and effective mechanisms for resolution. They reached an agreement to develop joint initiatives and action plans aimed at enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey in this vital area.
