The working group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to review nighttime service operations in Tashkent's Chilanzar and Uchtepa districts, with the aim of ensuring public safety and improving security measures.
As part of the study, the group reviewed the round-the-clock service activities in the "Botirma" mahalla of the Chilanzar district, including the organization of the "Food and Music Fest" festival on the tourist and gastronomic street. The working group reviewed the safety arrangements, public order measures, and overall conditions created for residents and visitors to the capital.
Attention was also given to the “2-Charkh Kamolon” mahalla, where living conditions at the 22nd orphanage (Khlebushkina), preparations for uninterrupted electricity supply during the autumn-winter season, and readiness for emergency situations were assessed.
In addition, the working group became familiar with the activities of the regional branch of the Uzbekistan Mixed Martial Arts Association, located in the “Chilanzar” mahalla. In discussions with trainers and officials, important topics including promoting mixed martial arts among youth, enhancing the professionalism of athletes, improving medical supervision, and strengthening the system of advanced training for coaches and referees were discussed. Specific tasks were assigned to further develop the sport in the region.
Moreover, the group inspected the operational readiness of staff responsible for maintaining public order and preventing crimes along the Small Ring Road, providing relevant instructions to ensure the efficient operation of security services.
During the visit to the specialized boarding school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the working group examined the measures being taken to create a modern and comfortable educational environment, prepare for the upcoming cold season, and maintain proper security and energy supply within the school premises.
The inspection then continued in Uchtepa district, where the activities of Internal Affairs Department No. 2 were reviewed. It was noted that as a result of the effective implementation of the Presidential Resolution “On measures to further increase the effectiveness of the system of early crime prevention and creation of a safe environment in the mahallas of the republic", Uchtepa district has successfully been free of high-crime mahallas.
The delegation also visited the “Zara” night club to assess fire safety and emergency preparedness, giving necessary recommendations to strengthen preventive measures. Furthermore, the working group inspected the “Urikzor Trade Complex” LLC shopping center, evaluating the organization of services and the conditions created to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors.
The Ministry’s working group continues similar activities in all regions of the country. These activities are aimed at improving the efficiency of public safety measures and creating a secure and peaceful environment for citizens.
