As part of the “20-day campaign” aimed at ensuring public peace and security, a working group led by Lieutenant Colonel Asilbek Rakhmanov, Deputy Head of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, carried out a night inspection in Bekabad city and Bekabad district.
The study evaluated the activities of district internal affairs departments, assessed the readiness of law enforcement personnel for service, and reviewed the effectiveness of security measures implemented in these areas.
A special emphasis was placed on monitoring public order and safety measures in social and medical facilities, "vigilance centers", markets, and other public areas. Additionally, preventive measures aimed at curbing crime and assuring citizens' safety and tranquility were evaluated.
A key recommendation of the inspection was to enhance patrol activities, expand video surveillance systems in public places, and enhance crime prevention measures.
Identified shortcomings were discussed in detail, and responsible officials were given specific instructions for improving service efficiency and ensuring a stable operating environment.
It should be noted that the "20-Day Campaign” operational and preventive campaign aimed at ensuring public peace and tranquility continues across the entire republic, including the Tashkent region.
