The group reviewed the activities of the internal affairs departments in the Samarkand, Kattakurgan, and Akdarya districts, assessed the performance of the personnel, and evaluated the effectiveness of the work with citizens' appeals.
A particular focus was placed on the activities of the Law and Order Center in the Yangiarik mahalla of the Samarkand district. A presentation on the crime analysis for the current year was presented and a discussion of the functioning of the Daily Workers Center was conducted. In regard to the digitization of the sector and the creation of additional facilities for workers, relevant instructions have been issued.
During the fieldwork in the Kattakurgan district, officials reported on the criminal situation in the "Kadan" mahalla, the effectiveness of the "mahalla seven", and preventive measures taken to combat crime and delinquency. Local activists and residents were actively engaged in constructive dialogue during which they presented proposals and appeals.
Furthermore, the group was familiarized with the work of the Akdarya District Internal Affairs Department in order to reduce crime within the district. A number of shortcomings were noted, including the fact that four mahallas remain in the "red" category. Accordingly, instructions were given to strengthen the activities of the "mahalla seven," improve the condition of corridors and streets in multi-storey buildings, develop road infrastructure, and enhance digitization processes in mahalla centers.
After the study, an analytical meeting was held with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the heads of the regional, district, and local departments as well as sector services. Meeting participants discussed the current state of service activities, personnel professionalism, service discipline, and ongoing efforts to ensure public safety.
A number of tasks were assigned to responsible officials, including addressing identified deficiencies, creating a safe environment in mahallas, strengthening early crime prevention, improving personnel's professional, physical, and combat readiness, improving spiritual and educational activities, ensuring legality in inquiries and investigations, and speeding up the appeal process for citizens.
