Systematic Study of Citizens’ Appeals conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its regional departments

As part of its efforts to strengthen the effectiveness of working with citizens' appeals, address legal issues, eliminate shortcomings in activities, and ensure social justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and its territorial divisions conducted a comprehensive review of appeals.
As part of this initiative, 367 appeals were received from citizens. The majority of these issues were related to law enforcement activities, public order, and socio-economic challenges in various regions. Of these, 156 appeals (42%) were resolved positively on the spot through the involvement of responsible officials, while the remaining 211 appeals (58%) were taken under special supervision for further in-depth study and resolution.
Additionally, the heads of the Internal Affairs Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Tashkent City Department, and the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs received a total of 389 appeals. Of these, 133 (34%) were resolved during receptions, while 256 appeals (66%) were assigned to relevant officials for additional examination and resolution.
As part of the meetings, citizens were also encouraged to actively participate in crime prevention activities, such as raising public awareness about cybercrime risks and fostering civic responsibility.
It has been emphasized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs that regular personal and mobile receptions to study public appeals will be held according to established procedures.
