Samarkand State University hosted a meeting of “Leaders and Youth” with the participation of the Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Major General Tokhir Aripov.
The meeting was focused on supporting young people, their contribution to the country's development, and the importance of empowering today's youth to be more proactive and dedicated. A special focus was placed on preventing crimes and offenses among young people, protecting them from destructive influences, and raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances.
During the meeting, students with excellent academic achievements who serve as role models for their peers, as well as active members of the “Qalqon” team supporting law enforcement agencies, were presented with commemorative gifts.
The event was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere and provided an opportunity to discuss future plans for youth engagement. During the meeting, relevant officials were tasked with implementing the progressive ideas and initiatives proposed.
