The team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has returned after successfully taking part in the international competition held in Urumqi, People’s Republic of China. The delegation was warmly welcomed at Tashkent International Airport.
The competition, held from September 8 to 11 under the title “Special Forces Skills of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and Central Asia”, brought together teams to compete across seven stages.
According to the results, the Uzbek MIA team secured honorable third place in the stages “Combat Assistance”, “Sniper Fire in an Acute Situation”, and “Capture During Occupation.”
In the “Combat Freestyle Wrestling” stage, one representative earned third place, two claimed second place, and three achieved first place. Furthermore, in the “Hand-to-Hand Combat” discipline, our athletes added three third-place finishes and one first-place victory, significantly contributing to the team’s overall success.
As a result, the Ministry of Internal Affairs team of Uzbekistan finished in third place in the overall standings. Second place was achieved by the Kazakhstan national team, while first place was achieved by the Chinese host team.
