Work processes were reviewed at the Operational Control Center of the DIA of Bukhara region

The Head of the Bukhara Regional Internal Affairs Department, together with the Deputy Governor of the region and the heads of the Regional State Tax Department, visited the Operational Control Center to review ongoing work processes.
During the visit, responsible employees of the regional Internal Affairs Department presented information on the functioning of the center. They also presented information on the progress of ongoing reforms, and the measures being taken to introduce digital technologies.
Additionally, the activities undertaken in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to create a safe environment in the mahallas of the republic in 2025 and further strengthen the crime prevention system" were analyzed.
A particular focus was given to the installation of surveillance cameras in mahallas with high crime rates, and the deployment of face and license plate recognition systems in public areas, markets, and other crowded locations, and their integration into the Operational Control Center. The widespread implementation of the “Digital Mahalla” program was identified as a priority task.
Currently, the center serves as the core of the regional security system, integrating over 10,000 video cameras, including:
- 687 license plate recognition cameras
- 1,380 advanced facial recognition systems
- 481 360-degree rotating cameras
- 7,530 surveillance cameras
All camera systems installed in mahallas and streets are connected to a unified monitoring hub, ensuring real-time supervision.
Furthermore, instructions were issued to officials responsible for preventing traffic congestion in busy areas of Bukhara city and district centers.
