Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region hosted a solemn festive gathering in celebration of the 34th anniversary of the Independence Day of Uzbekistan.

The head of the Main Department, Colonel Abduvosit Abdurazakov, opened the event by extending heartfelt congratulations to the personnel on Independence Day. He also conveyed the holiday message of the Minister of Internal Affairs and wished employees continued success in their honorable and responsible service.

A special recognition was given to Lieutenant Colonel Utkir Narjigitov of the Chinaz district Internal Affairs Department for receiving the "Shuhrat" medal according to a presidential decree. Moreover, 32 employees were awarded the "For Impeccable Service," "For Excellent Service," and "Honorary Employee of Internal Affairs Bodies" breastplates, as well as the "Honorary Badge," commemorative wristwatches, and other awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A collection of books was presented to one officer.

A number of veterans of the internal affairs system, lyceum students, and private personnel attended the ceremony. Among them, a veteran was presented with the “Honorary Employee of Internal Affairs Bodies” badge, while another was gifted a commemorative watch from the Ministry.

An employee was promoted to the special rank of "Lieutenant Colonel" in accordance with a ministerial order. Further, 500 employees of regional internal affairs agencies were rewarded with monetary incentives for their dedication and achievement.

As part of his closing remarks, the Head of the Main Department highlighted how the commitment and achievements of the employees serve as an inspiration for the entire team. He also expressed confidence that they will continue to demonstrate high levels of performance.
