I sincerely congratulate the employees of internal affairs bodies, military personnel, professors and teachers of educational institutions, trainees, veterans of the field, and the family members of those who died in the line of duty on March 21 - the Nowruz national holiday.
Nowruz is an ancient holiday that has been celebrated for over three thousand years. It is one of the most blessed and beautiful values of our people.
In his holiday greetings, honourable President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoev said about the essence of Navruz and the value of peace and tranquillity in our country: "Nowruz has become a holiday of friendship and refinement since our country gained independence, bringing together representatives of all nationalities and peoples into a single, harmonious family that has become the symbol of our nation's unity." "A treasure like this is the apple of our eye, and we will always protect it."
As a holiday of renewal, peace, and friendship, Nowruz has become a noble tradition in our country.
Having March 21 recognized worldwide by the United Nations as "International Nowruz Day" is an indication of the importance of this Eastern New Year.
Dear colleagues!
On this auspicious occasion, I express my gratitude for your worthy contribution to the country's peace, tranquillity and development, and I wish you great success in your responsible and honourable endeavours.
May Nowruz bring joy and blessings to every family and household!
P.R. Bobojonov,
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
Lieutenant General.
